Casey Calhoun, PhD

Dr. Calhoun is a licensed clinical psychologist who primarily works with children and adolescents experiencing problems with anxiety/stress, mood, PTSD, behavioral conduct, relationship dynamics, and adjusting to various life events. His therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based strategies and is tailored to meet the needs of each patient/family.

Dr. Casey Calhoun is an Assistant Professor at the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center in the MUSC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he completed both his internship and postdoctoral fellowship at MUSC.

Brian Sherman, PhD

Dr. Sherman is a licensed clinical psychologist who primarily treats depression, anxiety, and addiction.

Elizabeth Santa Ana, PhD

Dr. Santa Ana is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor in MUSC Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences who specializes in providing evidence-based treatments for substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, depression, mindfulness based stress reduction, and chronic pain. She welcomes members from the LGBT community and provides both individual and group therapy.

Josh Smith, PhD

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs (CDAP) in MUSC's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His work involves development and delivery of evidence-based treatments for substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Alyssa Rheingold, PhD

Dr. Rheingold is a licensed clinical psychologist whose clinical expertise includes evidence-based treatments for anxiety related difficulties such as social anxiety, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and specific phobias. She also specializes in assisting individuals and families cope with grief and traumatic loss.
