Amanda Gilmore, PhD

Dr. Gilmore is a licensed clinical psychologist whose clinical expertise includes evidence-based treatments for borderline personality disorder, suicidal behavior, post-traumatic stress disorder, and related anxiety and mood disorders. Dr. Gilmore provides Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which includes individual therapy, DBT skills group, and phone-based skills coaching. Dr. Gilmore received clinical training from Dr. Marsha Linehan, the treatment developer of DBT, in a two-year training program for the treatment of high-risk, severe and complex disorders using DBT during her graduate training at the University of Washington.

Brian Sherman, PhD

Dr. Sherman is a licensed clinical psychologist who primarily treats depression, anxiety, and addiction.

Rosaura Orengo-Aguayo, PhD

Dr. Orengo-Aguayo is a bilingual (Spanish/English), licensed clinical psychologist, who specializes in the treatment of PTSD/trauma-related concerns, anxiety, and depression with adolescents and adults. She has expertise in the delivery of evidence-based treatments including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She specializes in working with adolescent girls and women struggling with anxiety and stress. Dr. Orengo-Aguayo is committed to helping clients move towards a meaningful and vital life.

Casey Calhoun, PhD

Dr. Calhoun is a licensed clinical psychologist who primarily works with children and adolescents experiencing problems with anxiety/stress, mood, PTSD, behavioral conduct, relationship dynamics, and adjusting to various life events.

Josh Smith, PhD

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs (CDAP) in MUSC's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His work involves development and delivery of evidence-based treatments for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
