Ben Toll, PhD

Dr. Toll is a licensed clinical psychologist who can help you through the process of improving relationships, changing your substance use, reducing stress, alleviating anxiety and depression, improving self-worth, and achieving your goals. His approach to treatment is very collaborative. He will work with you to reach objectives that you set in therapy and help you to achieve success.

Dr. Toll is an Associate Professor at MUSC in the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Public Health Sciences. He is the Clinical Director for MUSC Health’s Tobacco Treatment Program and the Co-Director of the Hollings Cancer Center Lung Cancer Screening
Program. He is a clinical health psychologist, with a focus on reduction of tobacco and alcohol use. However, he has expertise in all areas of health psychology, as well as a focus on mood and anxiety disorders and relationship issues.

Dr. Toll received his B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University, then his M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He did predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowships at the Yale School of Medicine. He worked at Yale University for over 10 years before joining the faculty at MUSC.

Alyssa Rheingold, PhD

Dr. Rheingold is a licensed clinical psychologist whose clinical expertise includes evidence-based treatments for anxiety related difficulties such as social anxiety, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and specific phobias.

Elizabeth Santa Ana, PhD

Elizabeth Santa Ana, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Addiction Sciences Division, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina and an investigator in the Health Equities Research Innovation Center (HEROIC), Center of Innovation, at the Charleston VA Medical Center

Nancy Warren, PhD

Dr. Warren is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in couples and family therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.

Josh Smith, PhD

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs (CDAP) in MUSC's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His work involves development and delivery of evidence-based treatments for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
